Activities for our twos are designed to foster the development of the four major skill areas: fine motor, gross motor, language, and self help. Our classes emphasize learning by doing, encourage positive feelings about self, help children explore ways of dealing with conflict, and focus on individual children's strengths.

Our emphasis is on the development of language and communication, social and emotional skills, and fine and gross motor skills. Class activities include sorting and counting, puzzles, use of drawing and writing materials, manipulatives, books, scissors, paint, and playdough, and opportunities to practice functional skills.

Class emphasis is on social and developmental skills and preparing the four year-old for his/ her upcoming kindergarten experience the next year. Different centers (housekeeping, blocks, math and science, writing, manipulatives, sand table, books, art) encourage sharing and social skills as well as academics and developmental skills.
